Michelle is an academic working at the interstections of Hebrew Bible, gender and sexuality, worship and liturgy, public theology, psychology and sometimes education.

She has degrees in Theology, Education, Psychology and History. Her doctoral thesis was titled The Shame of the Old Woman: A Feminist Reading of Psalm 71.

Michelle is co-editor of Reading the Bible in Australia (Wipf and Stock, 2024). She also writes for the Women in Theology blog and writes liturgies for L3 (Liturgy, Learning and (purposeful) Life.

Michelle plans to release a free post every Monday morning (Australian time) and once a month a paid post for subscribers.
